Loro Parque is an animal based park in the North of Tenerife, based in Puerto De La Cruz. There are many excursions to the park for visitors to the South of the island, that will charge an all inclusive price for park admission as well as a coach trip to the park itself.

Loro Parque is the largest park in Tenerife, which opened in 1972, covering an area of 135,000 m squared.

The Loro Parque foundation also plays a large role in the preservation of endangered species and research projects.

The park is home to over 300 species of parrot, and a number of visitor shows including the sea lion show, dolphin show and parrot show.

One of the most popular attractions at Loro Parque is the Penguin enclosure, which has been built to replicate the natural environment of the Antarctic and is the largest penguinarium in the world. The whole enclosure is surrounded by glass, allowing the visitor a unique and unparralleled view of these birds.

You will see as you walk around the park that the animals aren't so much caged as living in small versions of their natural habitat. The most amazing example of this is the gorilla enclosure. 3,500 meters square of jungle has been created complete with waterfalls.

Casa Diana is a beautiful, spacious, fully fitted one double bedroom apartment, which has just been fully refurbished to the highest possible standard. The apartment is fully air conditioned.

The lounge includes brown leather bed settee, TV, music system and has matching furniture. There is a safe in the lounge for your use at no additional cost.

The balcony, accessed from the lounge, has the benefit of double glazed windows to make it fully enclosed if you wish, or the windows can be fully opened to allow the sea breeze to flow in. The balcony is furnished with a table and chairs for dining or relaxing with a glass of wine.

The bedroom has two single beds, bedside tables with lamps and a wardrobe. There is also another built in wardrobe in the lounge for additional storage.

The newly fitted kitchen wirh luxurious granite work tops includes: integrated fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, oven and hob, toaster, kettle, plus the usual kitchen utensils and cutlery.

The new bathroom has been installed with an extra wide door and shower door for disabled access. The shower has an overhead shower, a handheld shower and power body massage jets. The bathroom has a matching basin and WC.

Facilities - Parque Santiago 2 Complex

The complex has a large pool and a children's pool. There are masses of sun bathing areas around the pools with sun loungers. The sun loungers are exclusive to complex residents which you get by showing your room key.

There is a large pool bar serving hot and cold food and drinks from 10.00am – 6.00pm every day.

The complex also has several pool tables, table tennis tables and an arcade area with lots of arcade games.

Services

Towels and bedding are changed once a week.
