Callao Salvaje

The resort of Callao Salvaje is just a 10 minute drive from the busy Las Americas and Los Cristianos. The resort does have some late night bars with plenty of entertainment, and is also well known for some exquisite restaurants some in true Canarian fashion. There are a handful of local hotels nearby.

Taxis are easily available for those wishing to venture out as the nearby taxi rank and main bus stop is just a 5 minute walk. The local beach itself is half sand, half pebble with many rocks and a jetty that is ideal for fishing, snorkelling etc. The stunning Del Duque beach is only 10 minute drive, offering all Water Sports. The new state of the art Abama golf course complex in Adeje is only a ten minute drive away and there is a nearby tennis club. Ideal for families.

Playa de las Americas

This area of Tenerife has beautiful beaches. A short walk from either the beach of 'Las Vistas' in Los Cristianos or the beach of Playa de las America. Las Vistas is set on a very large bay - this is a gently shelving golden beach ideal for younger children. Las Americas beach is made of dark volcanic sand and has more bigger waves, although lifeguards are present. most beaches have sunbeds and brollys for hire and watersports.An endless choice of restaurants, cafés, bars and nightlife as well as live entertainment, cabaret and sports pubs one of the liveliest resorts.

Los Cristianos

Los Cristianos was originally a large fishing port but during the last 3 decades has developed in to a fabulous resort for both couples and families.
The beach offers many activities for adults and children including peddle boats, water sports and other beach amusements such as the bouncy castle and trampolining.
The harbour area has many boat trips available including the famous Whale and Dolphin trip.
Diving here in the canaries will also be an amazing experience for you if you are a regular diver or wish to try diving for the first time.

Golf del Sur

Golf del Sur combines a thriving holiday resort with a magnificent championship golf course and is only 10 mins drive from Renia Sofia airport. Golf del Sur caters not just for the golfer but also for families and couples wanting a more peaceful and relaxed environment surrounded by beautiful scenery. Whilst being only 15 minutes bus ride from the hustle and bustle of Playa de Las Americas, Golf del Sur itself is a more relaxed resort offering a mix of peace, tranquillity with good evening entertainment. The cottages are only a 10 minute walk from the newly constructed marina which is overlooked by several good restaurants and bars. Evening entertainment is also available in the centre of Golf del Sur at the San Blas commercial centre where there is a selection of shops, bars and restaurants around the main square. For those wanting to self cater there are several small supermarkets within walking distance and a large Mercadona Supermarket about approximately 10min drive

Car hire is recommended if you're based at Golf De Sur.

Playa Paraiso

It's a quick transfer from Tenerife Sur Airport, 30 minutes to Playa Paraiso, although you may prefer to opt for a Car Hire to reach your resort hotel, rather than inevitably taking the Las Americas and Costa Adeje tour of hotel drop offs before they finally drop you off in Playa Paraiso!

Ironically, there isn't a paradise beach here

There's a good sal twater lido here, but the superb beaches of Costa Adeje are on your doorstep!

Costa Adeje and Playa de las Americas are a mere 10 minutes away.

For a budget base if you're looking to really get out and explore Tenerife, and with easy access to good beaches nearby and the main TF1 motorway link for daytrips up to Santa Cruz, and west upto Los Gigantes - Playa Paraiso is a good choice. Basic Tenerife resort amenities are all here, including a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. If you're looking for a more all inclusive feel, and have young children with you, Costa Adeje further south will be a better choice.

Car hire is recommended if you're based at Playa Paraiso.
